Q: Will Discount Diabetic save me time and money?
A: Yes we will. Our customer associates can help sign you up over the phone in just minutes. We will then ship your supplies directly to your door. We will file all Medicare or insurance forms for you. You pay nothing up front. You don't have to wait for reimbursement. You don't have to stand in any lines.
Q: How long does it take to get my supplies?
A: Your initial shipment usually arrives within one week depending on how long it takes your doctor to authorize your order. Then we ship based upon your needs so you never run low on supplies.
Q: If my primary insurance is Medicare, do I qualify for your program?
A: Yes. Type I and Type II diabetics with Medicare Part B coverage qualify for our program. We also accept most other insurance. Most HMO's are not covered though.
Q: How often will you ship my supplies?
A: After you are enrolled, we will ship you a 30, 60 or 90 day supply depending on your medical coverage. Medicare customers qualify for 90 days of supplies.
Q: How reliable are you shipments?
A: Discount Diabetic ships your supplies using a delivery conformation system which uses the latest bar code technology to monitor the delivery of your shipments. Products are shipped via United States Post Office Priority Mail or United Parcel Service.
Q: Can you ship my supplies to different locations during the year?
A: Yes, we have many customers who have winter and summer residences. All you need to do is let us know upon calling your order and we will enter the information of the locations and dates of where you want your supplies shipped.
Q: Do I have to pay for shipping?
A: No. Your diabetic testing supplies are shipped to your door free of charge, anywhere in the United States or its territories.
Q: Does Medicare pay for insulin?
A: No, Medicare does not cover the cost of insulin.
Q: Can you contact my doctor to get my prescription?
A: Yes, we will fax an order for your supplies to your doctor.
Q: Do you accept private insurance such as Blue Cross Blue Shield?
A: Yes, we are a contracted provider for Blue Cross and Blue Shield plans which allows us to serve patients nationwide. Call us to see if your insurance company is on our provider list.
Q: Do you accept credit cards?
A: Yes, we accept Visa, Mastercard and Discover.
